Mission Statement
The mission of the Children’s Ministry is to share the gospel story with our children so that they may develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ at an early age.
Ministry Goals
Our goal is to lead our children (ages 4—12) in age-appropriate praise, worship and study of God’s Word so that they may learn and mature spiritually as they grow in the Body of Christ.
Ministry Theme
“The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof, the world and they that dwell therein.” (Psalm 24: 1A)
The follwing are activities associated with the Children’s Ministry:
Children’s Church Ministry
Co-Directors: Sis. Andrea Johnson, Sis. Carolyn Jackson
Meetings are held the 4th Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm
Children meet at the 11am on Sundays @ The House
Children’s Choir
Director: Sis. Helen Martin
Rehearses on 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th Saturdays at 1 pm
Girls of Joy
Chairperson: Sis. Loreli Zimmerman
Meets 3rd Saturdays at 11 am @ The House
Children’s Usher Board
Department Head: Sis. Paulina Boldin
Meets 2nd Saturdays at noon; serves on 4th Sundays at 8 am
Children’s Praise Dance
Coordinators: Erika Burkhart, Amber Pope, Ashley Taylor
Rehearses 1st Saturdays at noon, 2nd Saturdays at 11 am and
3rd Saturdays at 10 am
